Subject: cokes and red hots.
Hot dog and an accompanying Coke were the street
food in this country for years. Hamburgers were
big but really were not FAST FOOD like they became in the POST-WAR ERA. Note the use of the 8oz. COKE BOTTLE to be washed and used over and over. You could swig fom it or use a straw. Not
at all like the tonsof unrecyclable cups use today.
_The HOT DOG and a Coke. Truly FAST FOOD! WE can learn about sustainability from the way we used
the simple Coke bottle within living memory.

Subject: This portion of the Medicus collection is brought to you by Coke!
This is my first review of one of these films, and I picked a drier one in the collection, but it's still quite enjoyable. We start out with a kid and an older person doing rope tricks. Then after that, we see shots of people eating and drinbking. Most of what it looks like, people brought their own lunches to the fair? Was that Moedicus in the glasses?? Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was drinking Coke (after all, it was only 5 cents). AMELIE MOMENT! 4:30 into this, a guy with the BIGGEST nose is shown eating lunch with some girl probably taking pity on him.
We then are shown shots of the Bastille Day celebrations. Not too sure where they got the band, soldiers, and people wearing native costumes from. Wouldn't it be a little much to fly out the troops to NY just to march around? The area didn't seem all that big, so it just appeared they were marching in a circle..
a visit from the Queen E is then profiled. I am not too sure if this is a Medicus shot film, as this is slightly darker. Anyways, love the wave she gives to the minions.
Finally, a water fountain show by night is shown. Pretty neat, but not spectacular.
